The "Sarandev" European Youth Pop-Rock Festival Dobrich '2018

The organizer of the European Youth Pop-Rock competition is the Dobrich Municipality – Municipal Youth Center “Zahari Stoyanov”.The competition is hold under the patronage of the Mayor of Dobrich – Mr. Yordan Yordanov.
Time to be held: 16th, 17th, 18th of May 2018.
Place to be held: city of Dobrich, Youth Center-Dobrich, Bulgaria
REGULATIONS:
The competition is open for young people – individual performers in three age groups from 11 to 30 years old (by 31st Dec.2018).

FIRST GROUP – 11 – 14 years old
SECOND GROUP – 15 – 18 years old
THIRD GROUP – 19 – 30 years old

The “Sarandev” European Youth Pop-Rock Festival Dobrich ‘2018 is in two rounds:

FIRST ROUND – by 25th of April 2018.
Requests for the competition will be accepted until 13th of April 2018 via e-mail: omc.dobrich@gmail.com or at: Dobrich 9300, sq. Stariya oreh № 1, P. O. Box 15

The request must include demos of two songs in one of the following audio formats – WAV, MP3, MP4, MPG, AVI. The participants in the competition are to send demo-records of their own performances.It is recommended that one of the song is in native language. It is not necessary the songs which are presented by the contestants in the First stage to be the competition songs.
The selection committee will listen to the demos and will select who are admitted for the 2nd round
The admitted participants will be informed until 25th of April 2018.

SECOND ROUND -16th, 17th and 18th of May 2018.
16th of May – First tour – performance of the song in native language
17th of May – Second stage – performance of the other chosen song
18th of May – Gala concert and Awards Ceremony.

The selected perfomers for the Second stage of the competition will take part in both tours. The performances are live.Instrumentals must be provided in advance by the participants to e-mail address: omc.dobrich@gmail.com or at Dobrich – 9300, Sq. Stariya oreh № 1, P. O. Box 15 no later from 11th of May
The participants admitted to the Second stage of the competition will be judged by an international jury – mega stars from the Bulgarian pop music, famous composers, directors of musical festivals, production directors from Bulgaria and abroad.

The application form along with the demo-records for the first stage must be submitted by 13th of april 2018.

Award’s fund – 5 000 BGN

A Grand prix is awarded – the “Sarandev” Award and 3 awards in each age group
Each participant in the competition will be awarded with a special honorary diploma from the Organization committee.

Participation fee 30 BGN
The fee must be paid during the registration on the first day.
Also, the participants cast lots for the order of appearance.

The accommodation will be paid by the organizers.
The travel and the food expenses are paid by the participants.
