National training "Education through Sport"

The team took part in the national training “Education through Sport”. The training is part of the European initiative “Now move” and the campaign “European week of sport and physical activity” – MOVE WEEK. It was supported by the Ministry of Education and Science, Ministry of Youth and Sports and the Association of Municipalities in Bulgaria. The training was directed to educational professionals (directors, teachers of physical education and sport, teachers, school counselors), youth workers and representatives of organizations that use physical activity as a tool for education and development. The main topics covered in the training included educational approach – learning by sports, methodology of education through sport, practical exercises and more.
“Education through Sport” for Dobrich is organized with the support of YICC Dobrich and was held in the interactive hall of the library “Dora Gabe”. The training was a one-day, free of charge, the participants received certificates, package materials and access to Web resources on the topic.
