REGULATION
In the XXXV European Youth Pop-Rock Competition Sarandev can participate young singers – individual performers from 11 to 30 years old, divided in three age groups:
FIRST AGE GROUP – from 11 to 14 years old
SECOND AGE GROUP – from 15 to 18 years old
THIRD AGE GROUP – from 19 to 30 years old
The age is set at 31 December 2026.
The competition passes into two stages:
FIRST STAGE – PRELIMINARY SELECTION
+ Application for participation accompanied by a declaration of concent;
+ 2 demos – videos.

Тhe two video recordings must include the fulfillment of the song in the native language and the song by selection. It is not necessary the songs that are presented by the contestants in the First stage to be the competition songs.
The videos can be from concerts, competitions, rehearsals or at home.
The videos with studio-recorded sound are not accepted.
The selection committee, composed of members of the jury, listens to the video recordings and selects who is admitted to the Second stage of the Competition.
The admitted participants to the Second stage will be informed by e-mail until
30th of April 2026.
SECOND STAGE – PRESENT
14th of May – First competition evening – performance of a song in a native language
15th of May – Second competition song – performance of a song by choice
16th of May – Gala concert and Awards ceremony
The selected performers for the Second stage of the competition will take part in both stages.
The performances are live and the Instrumentals must be provided by the participants.
The instrumentals must be send in advance until 08th of May 2026.

The participants will be judged by competent international jury.
They are awarded as follows:
Grand Prix – A monetary award, a monetary award, a bespoke statuette and a certificate of achievement
In each age group:
First place – A monetary award and a certificate of achievement
Second place – A monetary award and a certificate of achievement
Third place – A monetary award and a certificate of achievement
Incentive and special award
PARTICIPATION FEE – 20 EURO

Organizers will cover the expenses for accommodation for the participants during the three competition days!
The expenses for transport and food are paid by the participants.
Upon registration on the first day of the competition a lot is drawn for the order of appearance.
