XXXI European Youth Pop-Rock Competition Sarandev
Date: 11, 12 and 13 of May 2022

Motto of the competition: „Not to the drugs, not to the fear, save the nature, save the mankind!”
REGULATION
In the XXXI European Youth Pop-Rock Competition Sarandev can participate young singers – individual performers from 11 to 30 years old, divided in three age groups:
FIRST AGE GROUP – from 11 to 14 years old
SECOND AGE GROUP – from 15 to 18 years old
THIRD AGE GROUP – from 19 to 30 years old
The age is set at 31 December 2022.

The competition passes into two stages:
FIRST STAGE – PRELIMINARY SELECTION
Applications are accepted accompanied by 2 demos – videos, after that are determined the admitted participants to the second stage of the competition.

Тhe two video recordings must include the fulfillment of the song in the native language and the song in the collection. It is not necessary the songs that are presented by the contestants in the First stage to be the competition songs.
The videos can be from concerts, competitions, rehearsals or at home.
The video is not recorded in the sound studio.
The selection committee, composed of members of the jury, listen to the video recordings and select who is admitted to the Second stage of the Competititon.
The admitted participants to the Second stage will be informed by e-mail until
27th of April 2022.
SECOND STAGE
11th of May – First competition evening – performance of a song in a native language
12th of May – Second competition song – performance of a song by choice
13th of May – Gala concert and Awards ceremony
The selected performers for the Second stage of the competition will take part in both stages.
The performances are live and the Instrumentals must be provided by the participants.
The instrumentals must be send in advance until 06th of May 2022.

The participants will be judged by competent international jury.

They are awarded as follows:
Grand Prix – 1000 BGN
In each age group:
First place – Money prize, Prize and Special honorary diploma
Second place – Money prize, Prize and Special honorary diploma
Third place – Money prize, Prize and Special honorary diploma

Organizers will cover the expenses for accommodation for the participants during the three competition days!
The expenses for transport and food are paid by the participants.
